In addition, the Movie Moan gang (Phil, Queen Kristina, Ed & Jamie) give their usual commentary on the week of movie-news. Zack Snyder is chosen by Warner Brothers to direct Superman: The Man of Steel. Emma Stone decides to join the Spider-Man reboot, but surprisingly not as Mary Jane Watson as everyone expected, but Gwen Stacy instead! Darren Aronofsky might (God forbid!) direct the Wolverine sequel. Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows – Part I won't be in 3D after all.

All of that plus Mad Max: Fury Road shitting the bed, a Jason Bourne-absent The Bourne Legacy, everyone's reaction to Transformers 3's chosen title Dark of the Moon, how Johnny Depp is a great guy, Kris does her Megan Fox impression and Subway.

With the Social Network out this week chronicling how friends turn against each other after launching a website, we figured why not plan for the TMT movie? Yes, we're anticipating a web of lies, back-stabbing, years of legal litigation and inevitable film version ahead of time.

The Movie Moan crew (Phil, Ed, Jamie and Lou who joins us near the end) give their thoughts on the afore-mentioned David Fincher-directed, Aaron Sorkin-written "Facebook movie."

And there's the week in movie-news, of course. Jared Harris is cast as Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes 2 (Suck it, Daniel Day Lewis and Brad Pitt!) Ridley Scott's Alien prequels hit a wall in development. Darren Aronofsky is the latest added to the list of possible Superman directors for Christopher Nolan. Robert Zemeckis forgoes that motion-capture non-sense and return to live-action features with Timeless.

All of that plus, Phil finally gets to see Back to the Future on the big screen and asks what movies the others would love to see likewise in that format, John Wayne trivia, British actors' drinking problems and why didn't Tom Hanks open that damn Fed Ex package in Cast Away.

That's Phil's first thought of the news that Blockbuster has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy. If you live stateside, then you’ve been seeing both the chain and Mom'N'Pop video stores ceasing to exist.

In addition to that on this week's Movie Moan, Phil, Ed, Queen Kristina, Lou & Jamie give their $.02 on the week of movie-news. Christopher Nolan searches for a Superman director. The details are revealed to what may be the Wachowskis' latest – Cobalt Neutral 9, and Phil reads the plot synopsis for us. A Goodfellas television series and True Blood movie are in development with different reactions.

All of that plus Jamie discusses Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and the "real" story behind Christian Bale jumping ship from W.

The title is ironic considering how much Phil wants to be Tim Curry in Legend. No, the British gentleman agent makes a crack about Peter Graves and Jamie does likewise to the Pope. So it's straight to the underworld for the both of them, but not before this week's edition of Movie Moan, of course.

Ed and Jamie review Ben Affleck's The Town and rave about the film and its performances including Affleck himself, Rebecca Hall, Jeremy Renner and Jon Hamm. Speaking of the Mad Men star, the gang addresses the story (originating here at TMT) of his being a candidate for the new Superman reboot. The bold decision by Tom Cruise & Co. to rename Mission: Impossible 4 *wait for it* The Mission. True Lies getting the TV treatment and the guys think up other 90s era films that need to be rebooted for television. Sasha Baron Cohen is announced to headline a Freddie Mercury biopic and based on that brilliant casting call the guys make director suggestions ranging from Baz Luhrmann to Danny Boyle.

Wrapping up this week is not so much a debate as it is a conversation starter. What movie props would you want to own in real life – yes, they'd be able to perform the same actions as they did in their perspective films. U.S.S. Enterprises, Blue Brothers mobiles and Superman costumes (and then some) are all brought up.

We've all had our experiences. Parents bringing their small (and loud) children when they shouldn't. Assholes playing video-games on their cell-phones, etc. Pick your poison.

For this week's Movie Moan podcast, the gang (Phil, Lou, Ed, Queen Katrina & Jamie) recall their personal "Best and Worst of" situations at the movies. Kristina recounts her gang-war screening of Troy, Phil's hatred of tall movie-goers sitting in front of him and how to properly steal those pesky 3D glasses.

They also discuss the week in news. Stephen King's The Dark Towers being adapted into a feature-length film followed by a television series. Everyone’s favorite Roger Ebert returning to the air-waves with At the Movies. Thank God, those thumbs are back! Martin Freeman apparently offered to play Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit and the casting woes of Gravity.
