    "MasterChef" Renewed For 4th Season

I'm not sure about any of you out there in cyberspace, but I'm a big Gordon Ramsay fan. Any show this guy cooks up, I want a reservation. I cringe when a tyrannical Chefy Ramsay attacks the contestants as they nervously botch beef wellington in Hell's Kitchen. I smirk as Gordon tries to balance a softer side with his type A personality while going through the filth that is some of America's worst restaurants in Kitchen Nightmares. I marvel at Gordon Ramsay's culinary expertise as amateur chefs compete for the top spot on MasterChef, which Fox has announced has been renewed for a 4th season.

Gordan Ramsay, Executive Producer & Judge:

“We’re excited to be back for another season of Masterchef. I am continually amazed by the raw talent, passion and creativity of home cooks across America. The contestants raise the bar every season, and it’s an inspiration and exciting challenge for us.”

Mike Darnell, President Of Alternative Entertainment At Fox:

Gordon and the producers really took Masterchef to a whole new level this year. The talent is absolutely fantastic, the competition is unbelievably intense, and it’s become one of the most compelling, heart-stopping hours on television. Over the course of three seasons, Masterchef has inspired millions of home cooks around the country to pursue their dreams in the kitchen, and I can’t wait for the show to inspire even more people with another season on Fox.”

"The Walking Dead" Season 3 Trailer

There seems to be no end to the zombie apocalypse at this year's Comic-Con:  between the Walking Dead Escape obstacle course at Petco Park (which looks awesome), and the chance to pose for a photo as one of katana-wielding badass Michonne's "pets", it may look like the end of the world is happening even sooner than the Mayans predicted.

But before that happens, we've got a new season of The Walking Dead coming this fall on AMC, which is now confirmed to be starting on October 14.  The all-star panel at Comic-Con today was nice enough to present a new trailer for the upcoming season featuring lots of new goodies, including our first looks at David Morrissey at The Governor and Danai Gurira as Michonne, along with the carnage one would expect from a zombie-infested prison:

Wow, that's a nice new...um, arm, you got there, Merle.  Yikes!  I can't wait.

    "The Catalina" Season Finale

Above you can enjoy a little mash up of the NY Post photos of Vicky Serra & Karina Derizans from CW's The Catalina as they enjoy the surf in Miami Beach. I'm not a huge reality TV guy but The Catalina has quickly become one of my many guilty pleasures so I hope powers that be at CW give it another shot. Looks like Vicky, Karina, and the rest of the cast are doing some ghost hunting in the season finale. Tune in to watch the finale on Tuesday 8/7 on The CW. You can enjoy the preview of the season finale below.

    "Breaking Bad" Season 5 Trailer

How I haven't tuned in to watch this show I'll never know. There are so many damn shows that I watch, I can't even keep up with them. I might just sit in for an entire week and watch as many episodes of Breaking Bad as possible, then shave my head and go nuthouse.

Jim Parsons and His Pal, Harvey

With this season of The Big Bang Theory wrapped up, and the new season not scheduled to start production until later this summer, everyone's favorite theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper...or as he's actually known, two-time Emmy winner Jim Parsons, is spending the summer with an invisble rabbit.  Well, he's playing the lead in a Broadway revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Harvey.

Parsons plays Elwood P. Dowd, a friendly but eccentric guy whose best friend is Harvey, a 6-foot, 3-and-a-half inch tall invisible rabbit.  His socially mortified family attempts to have Elwood committed, which goes all sorts of wrong, and hilarity ensues.  The role was made famous by James Stewart, who not only received an Oscar nomination for the film version of Harvey in 1950, he also played Elwood again in a Broadway revival in 1970.  Parsons revealed in a NY Times interview recently that he hasn't yet seen the film version, to avoid trying to make his performance an imitation of Stewart's.

Courtesy of BroadwayWorld, we now have a press reel of clips from the play, which are pretty damn funny.  Any Big Bang fans who want to see Parsons flex his stage chops should definitely check it out:

Yes, Mad Men fans, that was also Rich Sommer playing the sanitarium attendant.  Also in the cast are Jessica Hecht, Charles Kimbrough, and Carol Kane.

Harvey is previews now at NY's Studio 54, and will officially opened for a limited run from June 14 through August 5.

By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Girls Of "The Catalina" Photo Shoot

The CW is going reality programming for their Summer fare. While Blair Waldorf and Zoe Hart enjoy their summer vacation the female employees at The Catalina are heating things up. Above is one of the shots of some of the female staff from a recent photo shoot courtesy of WWTDD. Head over to the site for some more photos.

The one in the middle happens to be my favorite of the three, upon some research her name is Victoria Serra. Not only is she a reality star but she is also a model from Miami, view her portfolio HERE.

With a nightlife as hot as the sun-soaked beaches, the new reality series "The Catalina" centers on the young, wild staff of The Catalina hotel in Miami's South Beach. Forming their own dysfunctional family unit, the fun-loving group works hard during the day, while at night, they party even harder than their guests.

The show will follow the group as they manage their relationships with each other, while working hard to create a fun, exciting experience for the guests at the hotel. When the group works and parties together, drama always ensues. The two pool bartenders Nancy and Kris used to date and still have to work together - which causes jealousy when Kris flirts with fellow staff and hotel guests. Bartender David does his best to fit in with his fellow co-workers, while pool cocktail server DeDe often serves as the voice of reason with the group.

Kung Fu, the hotel's popular restaurant, is always bustling and restaurant general manager Morgan is all business as she tries to keep things flowing. Luckily, she has her best friend Eyal, who serves as the restaurant bartender, to keep her sane in times of stress. The front desk team consists of Vicky and Karina, best friends who love to stay after work and party at the hotel - where trouble always follows. Meanwhile, hotel owner Nathan and general manager Stephanie work to maintain order and keep the guests happy with their experience. All of this is just a day's work for the employees of "The Catalina."

MTV To Bring "Scream" To Television

You think somebody might have thought of this years ago when Scream was still relevent, but according to TV Line MTV wants to bring the once hip slasher franchise to television. Seems like a putrid idea on paper to me, but I know that Awkward and Teen Wolf have enjoyed some success on Music Television. I'm picturing Undressed with blood and masks, and that is not a pretty picture.

The last film definitely underperformed at the box office compared to previous installments, so you think based on the past moves of Hollyweird's big wigs, a reboot would have been the next logical step if anything. Nope. I guess television. Will Deputy Dewey be in it? Will he be recast? I'm pretty sure David Arquette is only a phone call away. "Hello David, do you like bad television shows?"

Below is a look at what the opening credits might look like based off of the first film.
