Marc Guggenheim Tweets New "Arrow" Poster

I wasn't sure what to expect from CW's Arrow when I first heard that the project was being developed but when I found out ThinkMcflyThink's friend Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti were involved, I felt at ease. I have been hooked on the show since the pilot and my girlfriend loves it so much shes been known to call it "her show".

Mr. Guggenheim, I affectionally call "Guggs" when discussing him with fellow writers (Don't Tell Him)  tweeted a new poster for the show yesterday.

On top of that, Spoiler TV released another poster via Coming Soon which you can view below.

Young Justice & Green Lantern Cancellation

Earlier today it was announced that Teen Titans Go! and Beware the Batman would be added the fall line up of the DC Nation programming on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately that means the absence of two extremely popular and well received shows already in that time slot, Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice. It was officially announced through the Twitter feed of Giancarlo Volpe who produces Green Lantern.

Last year both shows were pulled from Cartoon Network unexpectedly and without any sort of notice. Fans, including myself, tuned in to watch two of their favorite shows only to find them replaced with a one hour block of Dreamworks Dragons. Later on the network revealed that the programs would return the following year to resume programming. It feels much like the pulling of the shows was a ruse to try and cause viewership to drop, but it may have backfired on the company.

A petition has already started up with nearly a complete set of signatures needed to get Cartoon Networks attention. If you cared about these shows and believe they should not be taken away so soon, then please take a moment to sign the petition. This doesn't mean the shows will stay, but it's at least taking a stand and showing the company that the fan base feels ignored.

Stephanie Andron & Karina Derizans Of "The Catalina" Bring The Heat In Miami

Some shows are meant to be your very own personal guilty pleasure, and that is what last Summer's CW reality show The Catalina was for me. What red blooded American male wouldn't want to watch well toned sun kissed women working in a hotel, hitting clubs, and bringing it on the beach?

The CW has yet to make an official decision on whether the show will see anymore episodes but that didn't stop a couple of the show's stars from catching some rays and getting wet in Miami. Check out the photos of Stephanie Andron (Pink & White Biniki) & Karina Derizans (Blue & Floral Bikini) below.

Skyfall's John Logan & Sam Mendes To Raise Frankenstein At Showtime

It seems that Showtime is not phased that there are three other Frankenstein projects in development, their need for a television series is alive, it's alive! John Logan and Sam Mendes most recently of the $1 Billion + worldwide grosser Skyfall were shopping the project to premium cable networks before it landed at Showtime according to Deadline.

The untitled drama, which has undergone some tweaking from the original spec to tailor it to the Showtime audiences, is described as a psychological horror drama series with literary underpinnings, including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, set in the 1800s.

NBC, yes that's still a network, is also eyeing a Frankenstein inspired series. There are also two films in development, Frankenstein at Fox & I, Frankenstein over Lionsgate. If I'm a studio I would rather put my trust in Logan and Mendes and if I'm a viewer that is the incarnation that I would want to watch. Going to be interesting to see how all of these projects play out.

"Revolution Returns To NBC on Monday, March 25 At 10/9c

What would you do without it all? In this epic adventure from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and "Supernatural's" Eric Kripke, a family struggles to reunite in an American landscape where every single piece of technology - computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights - has mysteriously blacked out forever. A drama with sweeping scope and intimate focus, "Revolution" is also about family - both the family you're born into and the family you choose. This is a swashbuckling journey of hope and rebirth seen through the eyes of one strong-willed young woman, Charlie Matheson (Tracy Spiridakos, "Being Human"), and her brother Danny (Graham Rogers, "Memphis Beat"). When Danny is kidnapped by militia leaders for a darker purpose, Charlie must reconnect with her estranged uncle Miles (Billy Burke, "The Twilight Saga"), a former U.S. Marine living a reclusive life. Together, with a rogue band of survivors, they set out to rescue Danny, overthrow the militia and ultimately re-establish the United States of America. All the while, they explore the enduring mystery of why the power failed, and if - or how - it will ever return.

The series also stars Anna Lise Phillips ("Animal Kingdom") as Maggie, Zak Orth ("Romeo + Juliet) as Aaron, JD Pardo ("A Cinderella Story") as Nate, Giancarlo Esposito ("Breaking Bad") as Captain Tom Neville, David Lyons ("The Cape") as Bass, Maria Howell ("The Blind Side") as Grace, Daniella Alonso ("Friday Night Lights") as Nora, Tim Guinee ("Iron Man") as Ben Matheson and Elizabeth Mitchell ("Lost") as Rachel Matheson. Kripke, Abrams and Bryan Burk ("Lost," "Star Trek") serve as executive producers, and Jon Favreau ("Iron Man," "Iron Man 2") serves as co-executive producer. "Revolution" is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Bad Robot Productions, Kripke Enterprises and Warner Bros. Television.

Kathy Griffin All Over Anderson Cooper's "Sardine"

Luckily I wasn't watching Kathy Griffin attempting to go down on Anderson Cooper multiple times last night on live TV because I was enjoying food and drink with my ever expanding family, but I feel bad for those who were.

As the ball in Times Square was being prepped to drop, Kathy Griffin informed Anderson Cooper, "I'm going to tickle your sack." It didn't get any better from there. Griffin later bent down to put her mouth on Griffin's private parts playing off a story that a tiny sleepy town in Maine traditionally kisses sardines on the mouth on New Years.

"...I was kissing your Sardine...I can do this all night long...I'm going down. You know you want to."

    Stay classy Kathy Griffin.

The Kid from Two & a Half Men is Kind of an Idiot

Let's be fair, this is not the same as Charlie Sheen.

Sheen was a self-destructive jackass who didn't take into account, no less care about, the people whose jobs he was putting into jeopardy. Let alone his small children who are depending on him, as their father, to support them. Instead his drug-binges and descent into oblivion is gloried. A VH1 Celebrity Roast, for example...

Angus T. Jones, the formerly "Half" component of Two & a Half Men, is an idiot, and hypocrite. But it's not in the same galaxy as Sheen, as some have suggested. A new testimonial video appeared online of Jones speaking out against the sitcom that made his career (Starts at 7:44):

He's entitled to his views and I get where he's coming from. The kid is getting in touch with God. That's great. Really, it is. But I have no respect for biting the hand that feeds you. You're bad-mouthing Two & a Half Men and yet the sitcom, still a huge ratings-winner, provided you with "Set for Life" money. You gonna stop cashing those paychecks?

I'm sure Chuck Lorre appreciates it.

    Sherlock Series Three Delayed

Series three of Sherlock is coming. That was never in no doubt. Just set your watches back. Preferably to the end of next year or for us fat Americans early 2014; possibly even later depending on when the BBC gets first dibs.

Entertainment Weekly reports the third run of the acclaimed series has pushed its start-date back from January to March 2013. Stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are becoming big deals beyond UK television sets. Freeman headlining Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy and Cumberbatch the villain in Star Trek Into Darkness.

So the production has to fit around their schedule accordingly. I don't want to hear anyone complain. Were it not for the BBC commissioning the second and third series at the same time, Sherlock might have ceased after its initial run. Given its stars' higher profile endeavors, Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat must know series three is it. As long as it gets a proper exit, that's fine.

    "The Farm" Bought the Farm

Dwight Schrute didn't need his own show. Having played on television screens for seven years, little comedic material was left for Rainn Wilson's off-beat paper salesman/beet farmer.

Geared as one of NBC's highlights this season, plans for The Office spin-off The Farm have been scrapped, Wilson reported on his Twitter feed. Clearer heads prevailed.

While NBC gave no official reasoning behind the move, a look at The Office's dismissal ratings in its much-publicized final season is reason enough. The pilot will instead air as an episode of The Office later this season.

Jimmy Fallon Enters "Mister Romney's Neighborhood"

Mitt Romney recently said he wants to cut funding for PBS, which is odd, considering he hosts his own children's show on the network.
