Senile Dan Aykroyd Pretends GHOSTBUSTERS 3 Will Still Happen; SPOILERS: It Won't

In an interview with ABC News plugging his Crustal Head Vodka, famous funny-guy Dan Aykroyd, best known for teasing the internet with the long running joke that you can expect a third Ghost Busters film before all the actors are dead, says Ghostbusters 3 is still happening, whatever that should mean.

I feel re-encouraged, reinvigorated by the pages that I have seen. I know that we're expecting half of the screenplay to be completed very soon. It should be into production by the fall and be shooting by the new year. I won't say anything, it's very exciting. The Higgs boson and the particle theories, gluons and mesons, that really gives us a scientific base in terms of our fictional storytelling, to open up to another dimension and have something horrible come through.

Now, this has been going on for how long now? Might as well just wait a few more years and reboot it.

Bryan Singer Shows Off Some Chairs; Confirms Bishop and Whoever "Warpath" Is

I shouldn't even bother writing this, because I'll think "Jesus, maybe Bryan Singer will finally go work on this movie instead of taking pictures on Twitter about it" and then the next day he posts some more shit.

Today it was a Vine video of chairs, confirming mutants Bishop and Warpath will be in this big honkin son of a bitch of a film.

It was confirmed a while back that Idris Elba Omar Sy (The Intouchables, Moon Indigo) would be involved, and everyone seems to think he'll play Bishop. Seems legit.

Another actor, who is one of three not attached to a certain character (Omar and Dinkelege) is Taylor Lautner  Boo Boo Stewart (The Twilight Saga 1-7) who is pretty much a lock-in for the Native American X-Man known as Warpath.

Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin, Ian McKellen, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Patrick Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Daniel Cudmore, and probably more star.

The X-Men must travel in time to change a major historical event that could globally impact on man and mutant kind.

Directed by Bryan Singer (Superman Returns, Valkyrie, X-Men 2: X-Men United) and written by Matthew Vaughn and Simon Kinberg, X-Men: Days of Future Past comes out July 18th, 2014.

Marvel Studios Gets Back DAREDEVIL; Sadly No Word of Ben Affleck

In case Mark Steven Johnson's 2003 picture with Ben Affleck, Colin Farrell, and Jennifer Garner didn't do it for you, and you had already gotten your hopes up for David Slade's potential reboot that was tossed around back in 2012, well it appears Marvel Studios has gotten back the rights to "The Man Without Fear" (which I bet $10 will be the film's subtitle).

Marvel Studios President of Production, Kevin Feige, spoke with Newsarama  today at an Iron Man 3 press junkett, and out of all of that circle-jerking about how "great" and "gritty" the third installment of the super-powered franchise will be, Feige let slip that Marvel Studios had, indeed, re-acquired Daredevil from Fox after their rights expired on October 10 2012:

We directly asked Feige if the reports that Marvel Studios now had the rights to Daredevil were accurate, to which he replied, "To Daredevil? Yes."

Well, there you have it. Obviously there's no word or plans to make a new Daredevil feature; but I'm sure the upcoming large slate of "Avengers Phase 2" films will keep you Marvel nerds calmed till the news is leaked and then made a big deal out of, till it's confirmed Marvel makes it a PG-13 Avengers S.H.I.E.L.D Fest.

You can see what David Slade's vision of Daredevil would have been like below in this NC-17 rated sizzle reel.

First "Official" Images of Pedophile Max Dillon and Harry "Emo" Osborn

In case you have been living under a rock, there's a new Spider-Man movie and, as we reported a few days ago, you've seen Electro, so now you get to see Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon, and Daniel DeHaan as Harry Osborn for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Yesterday, from the wide world of Twitter, Webb tweeted the still of Foxx, and moments later DeHaan tweeted himself as Harry Osborne. Take a look:

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also stars Paul Giamatti as The Rhino and Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane-Watson.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, opening in theaters on May 2, 2014, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away – but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

First Full X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Image is Sadly Just Halle Berry

From the Twitter of Bryan Singer which has brought us such classics as "Bearded Ice-Man" or "The back of Patrick Stewart's bald head" now comes the image comic-book fans and X-Men fans have been clamouring for:

An image of Halle Berry as Storm!

Is that not what you wanted? Did you want Dinklage or Fassbender or a Sentinel? Too bad, nerds.

All things considered, I'm loving the gruff kind of "armor" the future X-Men seem to be wearing that we kind of saw with Xavier and Ice-Man, and can't wait to see the full cast all decked out.

It's been a good few days for getting glimpses of upcoming movie characters like Electro, Harry Osborn, and now Storm.

I'm still hoping for a pic of Fassbender...please...

Tom Hiddleston in early talks for THE CROW; Yes, THAT Crow.

I'm sure you all forgot about Relativity Media's remake of the acclaimed 1993 film, The Crow, didn't you? After Bradley Cooper was in talks to play Eric Draven in late 2011, even having sme concept art drawn up; with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, The Intruders) directing, the project fell apart due to a law-suit, people got bored, and Cooper went on to be an Oscar nominated actor in Silver Lining's Playbook while actors like Marky Mark and Channing Tatum were rumored for the role before the project was put on hold.

Flash-forward to just a few weeks ago and James MacAvoy was in talks for the lead- which was soon dismissed- and now it seems your Eric Draven might be none other than Tom Hiddleston, the face you got sick of as he joined Benedict Cumberbatch in the league of people with creepy annoying obnoxious fangirls you wish would shut the hell up.

From The Wrap:

Hiddleston recently had dinner with producers and sent them a makeup test that he did on his own in London. He will undergo a proper makeup test in the coming days, as the character's appearance is important to fans of the franchise, who should be delighted with the casting of a major member of the Marvel universe.

Acclaimed Spanish filmmaker F. Javier Gutierrez ("Before the Fall") is directing "The Crow" from a script by Cliff Dorfman ("Warrior"), though it's possible that other writers will be credited as well.

Production is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall, though the timetable could move slightly depending on several factors.

Well, what do you all think? is a remake of The Crow still a stupid idea, or has casting Loki cheered you up enough to go reblog a bunch of GIFs of Tom eating a sandwich or something?

Rest Assured, Bay's Turtles Movie is Officially 'TEENAGE MUTANT' NINJA TURTLES

TMNT Lair just confirmed that at CinemaCon, Paramount has revealed the logo for Michael Bay's controversial Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot- which WAS called Ninja Turtles, much to the ire of the die-hard fans of the comic/cartoon series- and it's officially called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The film, which began a hectic production back in September and featured the shelled heroes as aliens or whatever,  has undergone extensive rewrites from Snow White and the Huntsman scribe  Evan Daugherty and will now feature Turtles who are both teenagers and mutants. Cool.

Filming has already begun, with Bay producing, Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans, Battle: Los Angeles) directing, and stars Megan Fox, Danny Woodburn, Will Arnett, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek and Noel Fisher.
