Wed, August 1, 2012 One of the most exciting filming sights of last summer was seeing a fully built model of The Bat race around Pittsburgh. Over in Toronto Len Wiseman was following the same "Practical is best" mantra with his epic Hovercar chase for the new Total Recall.
I saw quite a few of the fan videos and posted a couple here, but this is a much better look at how one of this summers most exciting looking action sequences was put together. I really hope more directors follow this approach when engaging the world of sci fi action.

Sun, July 8, 2012 The website omnicorp.com has given us the first look at ED-209 from the Robocop remake, as well as a peak at Robocop himself. The site is set up as if it is the official site for the corporation in the movie that makes weapons to keep our cities safe, and even features a products video.
Personally I love the modernized ED-209, it's a sleek and recognizable update, and Robocop himself looks as if he will be pretty sleek for the bit we can see.
Sun, July 8, 2012 Guilermo Del Toro's Mechs vs Monsters blockbuster is picking up steam and who knows what else might be revealed at SDCC over the coming week.
Today saw Warner Brothers release a new teaser poster which gives a glimpse at the Mechs, known as Jaegers apparently. As you can see they are going to be huge and kind of look like giant Master Chief's rather than what I was expecting, i.e something like the things in the Matrix Revolutions.

I'm still surprised at the high-tech Newmar design Nolan went for with Catwoman but I think it has turned out well, and from the footage shown so far Anne Hathaway seems to have nailed the character.

Tue, July 3, 2012 Yahoo have debuted the new teaser trailer for Tom Cruise action thriller 'Jack Reacher'. It has a real 70's style to it and Cruise is playing a role that has an element of a call back to Vincent in Collateral.
