First Set Photo From STAR WARS EPISODE VII; Yep, That's Star Wars.

Today from Bad Robot's Official Twitter came the first photo from production of Disney's Star Wars: Episode VII and it's nothing really newsworthy or spectacular; but it's there and kind of cool none-the-less.

While no roles have been cast or plot has been revealed; it's good to know R2D2 is back, right?

The photo shows J.J. Abrams and others posing with R2D2 in the first string of nerd-pandering pictures that will show off "iconic" characters and replicas despite the fact that either way the movie goes it is set to make probably $5 Billion dollars opening weekend and fix the United States' debt crisis while ushering in a new era of world-peace and then sweeping the Oscars.

Star Wars: Episode VII will be directed by J. J. Abrams (Super 8Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek)and is being scripted by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost ArkThe Empire Strikes BackReturn of the Jedi). Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, with Tommy Harper (Mission: Impossible – Ghost ProtocolJack RyanStar Trek Into Darkness) and Jason McGatlin (TintinWar of the Worlds) serving as executive producers. John Williams is returning to score Star Wars: Episode VII.

Star Wars: Episode VII sweeps you to a galaxy far, far away on December 18, 2015.
