Fanboys 2 - The Revenge of McG

He’ll claim it’s not personal, but who’s he kidding? McG was practically crucified by the fanboy community for Terminator: Salvation. However unlike people like Brett Ratner, he brought the criticism all to himself. What with the constant lying and all.
However now that that tidal wave has passed, he can finally reap his revenge on those who shit on him (and his name). Variety reports the director and comedy writer/producer Larry Charles are developing an untitled pilot for NBC about (what else?) fanboys.
The potential comedy series (with this pilot being described as a “prototype”) involves a team of fanboys who decide to scrape up the money and shoot episodes of their favorite science fiction series after it’s cancelled by the network. So they’re basically making fun of Star Trek: Phase II from that description.

i like Chuck and i think the nerds are also funny on that show.
so i have a feeling that this will be good.
So NBC is trying to make a more nerdy Big Bang Theory/the IT Crowd.
It'll be an old-fashioned nerd off.
I think the nerds on Chuck are the worst part of the show. This idea sounds awful.
