Movie Moan: Still Not Feeling That Thor Footage
After a Comic-Con presentation, a Superbowl TV spot and now two theatrical trailers, it's still a general "Eh" consensus from the Movie Moan gang on Thor. Maybe Marvel is still holding on delivering the goods or maybe the crew (Phil, Queen Kristina, Ed & Jamie) are the idiots here? You decide.
Elsewhere on this week's podcast is Phil's review of Paul, the sci-fi comedy starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost that won't grace the domestic screens until next month. Everyone reacts to the rumors of a theoretical Terminator 5, Marion Cotillard in talks to join The Dark Knight Rises and Christopher Nolan rumored to get his Howard Hughes film going after wrapping up his Batman trilogy.
All of that plus the problem of making Wonder Woman work on-screen, The Amazing Spider-Man possibly fitting into the continuity of the Sam Raimi films (according to producer Avi Arad), Kristina's love for The Maury Povich Show and how Jamie would dress up like a dog for Martin Scorsese.

Great show guys.
Really liked the new Thor trailer. It did its job for me - much more excited to see this now.
The Spidey picture was OK. Not a big fan of the dark eye lens - prefer the white lens look.
Keep on 'castin!
I thought the new Thor trailer was good. I want to see it now. All you guys are being too negative except for Phil. Good for you Phil! :)
Ellen Page for Harley Quinn? That's perfect!
Jamie stop with the "Star Trek 2 will kick The Amazing Spider-Man's ass" comments. It's getting very, very annoying. What a minute Jamie aren't you the guy here on Movie Moan you kept saying Tron Legacy was going to make huge money? Look what happened. So if Cowboys & Aliens flops I will get you Jamie. Burn! No hard feelings. :)
PS: Star Trek was the most overrated movie of 2009 so I don't care for Star Trek 2 at all. IMHO
