First Look at NBC's HANNIBAL Season 2!

It's been rough for fans of NBC's "Hannibal", the small-screen adaption of Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon".

First, the series debuted to amazing ratings which mellowed out into increasingly well and consistent ratings; but due to some trouble after a pulled episode and the fact NBC had yet to renew "Hannibal" after reviving (or axing) all of their other shows, fans were concerned that plans for Bryan Fuller's series would fall through, and we'd never get to see Buffalo Bill tucking his junk in while putting make up on how the psychological drama between Detective Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) would play out.

Well now, Season 2 is officially underway, and thanks to the Offical Facebook Page, we have our first look at FBI Special Agent Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne, taking some time off from The Daily Planet) and Dr. Lecter at the scene of a sure-to-be grizzly crime.

Brace yourselves, Fannibals! This is our FIRST LOOK at Season 2…

Following that, show-runner Bryan Fuller revealed the first teaser-poster for Season 2, as well as offering explanation for it with Entertainment Weekly.

“After a horrifying descent into madness in season 1, this image ironically represents the perspective of a scrappier, clearer-minded Will Graham in season 2.  The scales have fallen from his eyes and he finally sees Hannibal Lecter for the monster he is.”

"Hannibal" returns to NBC in 2014.

First Glimpse At The *NEW* Daario in HBO's GAME OF THRONES

If you're a fan of HBO's hit adaption of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, "Game of Thrones", then you probably fondly remember Daario Naharis, the charming sellsword who pledges his allegience to Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen near the end of last season.

This is the first time the actor has been seen in costume as the Tyroshi sellsword since his casting leaked a month ago. It appears as though Huisman will be keeping his beard, and foregoing the long blond wig that was part of Ed Skrein’s look when he played the role.

Well, as it was reported last month, Daario will have a new face, and no that's not because he's a faceless man, it's because Ed Skrein has been ditched in favor of the newer and sexier actor, Michiel Huisman! Well now you get to see what he looks like as the charming Daario. Sadly, still no blue-hair and trident-blue beard.

"Game of Thrones" Returns 2014 to HBO.

AMERICAN PSYCHO Sequel-Series Headed to FX

FX, Always pushing the limits of what they can get away with in terms of content with such graphic and mature shows like "Nip/Tuck", "Sons of Anarchy", "The Bridge", "The Americans", and "Rescue Me" will now push those a little further with a continuation of the acclaimed 2000 film, American Psycho.

Deadline reported today that Lionsgate TV and FX will be heading along with the series, produced by Lionsgate's Allison Shearmur and written by Stefan Jaworski

Described as an update of American Psycho, the drama series fast-forwards from the late 1980s, when the movie was set, to present day. It will feature serial killer Patrick Bateman, now in his mid-50s but as outrageous and lethal as ever, taking on a protégé in a sadistic social experiment who will become every bit his equal — a next-generation American Psycho.

HBO's Game of Thrones Seeing Some Major Recasts For Season 4

Hope you didn't grow too attached to some characters last season....Red Wedding aside, I mean.

The roles of Daario Naharis, Gregor Glegane, and Tommen Baratheon are being recast as HBO's fantasy epic, "Game of Thrones", based on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin, has begun shooting it's fourth season expected to air in 2014.

Daario Naharis, the charming sell-sword who has begun to steal Daenery's Targaryan's heart in the far-away lands of Essos as Season 3 ended, has  been recast from Ed Skrein to Michiel Huisman, star of NBC's "Nashville" and the recent Brad Pitt zombie-spectacle World War Z. The news comes as quite a shock and no reason has been given by the stars or HBO.

Next on the recast is role, Gregor Clegane "The Mountain That Rides", has been recast every season he's appeared in, excluding Season 3, where the character was absent. Previously played by Conan Stevens (The Hobbit), and Ian Whyte (Prometheus), The Mountain will now be portrayed by Iceland's Strongest ManHafþór "Thor" Björnsson, making his acting debut.

Finally, Tommen Baratheon, bastard son of Jaime and Cersei Lannister, who was also absent from Season 3, will be aged up a bit from Callum Wharry to Dean-Charles Chapman from the Starz series, "The White Queen".

Thanks to Yahoo News UK and The Facebook Fanpage of Petyr Baelish for gathering the photos of The Mountain.

White Pine Bay Gets Some New Visitors In "Bates Motel" Season 2

If you've been going through withdrawals like I have, writing erotic fanfiction and dressing your Barbie dolls up as characters from A&E's "Bates Motel" trying to pass the time till Season 2 airs, this won't help; but it'll give you an idea of what to expect:

TV Line got the exclusive heads up that the A&E prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's acclaimed 1960's film PSYCHO, added Kathleen Robertson and Michael O'Neill to the mix of newcomers to White Pine Bay in the prequel's anticipated sophomore season.

Robertson will play Jodi, according to TVLine:

Kathleen Robertson (Boss) is joining the Season 2 cast of A&E’s "Bates Motel" as Jodi, a smart, sexy businesswoman and artist who’s as hard-charging as she is successful.

While it’s not yet clear how exactly Robertson’s character will play into the world of Norma and Norman Bates, one thing is certain: Jodi’s a natural born leader who gets what she wants — personally and professionally — and she’s not afraid to use her arsenal of brains, charm and creativity to make things happen.

Sounds like she'll be in competition with Emmy winning actress and star of the recent smash hit, The Conjuring, Vera Farmiga, who plays Norma Bates.

Robertson starred in the original "90210", as well as Hollywoodland and I Am Sam.

Michael O'Neill is probably most remembered for his role on the Season 6 finale of "Grey's Anatomy", as the grieving widower who took to mass murder, well, he's basically going to be at that again as the father of Miss Watson, Norman's high-school English teacher who met her grizzly fate in the Season 1 finale.

He’ll play the recurring role of Nick, a smart and potentially ruthless charmer who is mourning the grisly death of his daughter (R.I.P. Miss Watson) and sets out to exact revenge on the perp responsible (watch your back, Norman).

O'Neill also starred as the cool CIA Agent in Michael bay's 2007 film Transformers, as well as Secondhand Lions and Traffic

Well, well, well. Norman's got him a new waifu and White Pine Bay is getting some new visitors...

"Bates Motel" Season 2 is set not to disappoint, and is still filming, to premier in 2014.

'Percy Jackson' Star Paloma Kwiatkowski Joins A&E's "Bates Motel" Season 2

Deadline reports that Canadian newcomer Paloma Kwiatkowski, who will be making her feature debut in the upcoming young-adult film, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, will be playing a love interest and recurring role to Freddie Highmore's Norman Bates, putting more pieces in the puzzle of Norman's anime-highschool like harem of girls such as teacherfu (Keegan Conner Tracy's Miss Watson), sickfu (Olivia Cooke's Emma DeCody), skanku (Nicola Peltz' Bradley Martin), and mommyfu (Vera Farmiga).

She will play Cody Brennan, a small town party girl who befriends Norman (Freddie Highmore) and bonds with him, showing him how having fun and “acting out” can sublimate pain – at least for awhile.

Sounds like some good stuff for us fans of A&E's Exceptional series, "Bates Motel", which acts as a prequel/reboot set in modern-day to the acclaimed 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film, PSYCHO, based on the novel of the same name by Robert Bloch.

"Bates Motel" Season 2 is now filming, and will air in 2014.

For Some Reason "Girl Meets World" Officially Happening

Get ready for a flood of annoying status updates and tweets that all go something like
"OMG I CANT EVEN, FEELS, THIS SHOW WAS MY LIFE HOIDHGfwew" because a sequel to Disney's nostalgic gem,"Boy Meets World", which ran for 7 years from '93 to '00, is officially picked up by Disney; with production to begin this summer, Huffington Post says.

Set in New York City, the new comedy series will tell the wonderfully funny, heartfelt stories that Boy Meets World is renowned for — only this time from a tween girl’s perspective — as the curious and bright 7th grader Riley and her quick-witted friend Maya (played by Sabrina Carpenter) embark on an unforgettable middle school experience.  But their plans for a carefree year will be adjusted slightly under the watchful eyes of Riley’s dad who’s also a faculty member — and their new History teacher — and Riley’s mom who owns a trendy after-school hangout that specializes in pudding.

This show takes place exactly 13 years after the previous left off; so expect this to be trending every single night it's on, as well as the "juicy" episodes like puberty, sexting, virginity, and when one of her friends starts to smoke pot.

"I am grateful to everyone at Disney Channel for the opportunity to reach my favorite audience, which has always been kids. 'Girl Meets World' is a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made 'Boy Meets World' so popular," series creator Michael Jacobs said in a statement.

NBC's "HANNIBAL" Renewed for Season 2

Weeks after NBC announced it's cancelled/renewed results, "Hannibal" finally has a verdict, and it's all sunshine and rainbows, Deadline reports

“We’re so proud of Bryan’s vision for a show that is richly textured, psychologically complex, and very compelling,” NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said. “There are many great stories still to be told.”

Hurray!

Through its eight original telecasts to date, Hannibal is averaging a 2.0/6 share in adults 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall in “most current” Nielsen numbers. According to NBC, Hannibal is the youngest drama on ABC, CBS and NBC, with a median age for its audience of 45.7. It’s also an upscale drama, indexing at a 111 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes. Additionally, Hannibalis heavily time-shifted, with its 18-49 rating growing by 75% going from next-day “live plus same day” ratings to “live plus seven day.”

It was reported last month that Amazon and another cable channeled had interest in "Hannibal" if NBC dropped the ball, and it appears NBC has finally done something right and taken a chance.

Hannibal" airs Thursdays 10/9 central on NBC. Based on the Thomas Harris novel, "Red Dragon".

"Hannibal" explores the early relationship between the renowned psychiatrist and his patient, a young FBI criminal profiler, who is haunted by his ability to empathize with serial killers.
