First Look At CW's The Flash Makes Captain America Wish For An Earless Helmet

The CW have issued a press release showing off the first image of Grant Gustin (Glee) as the title role in their upcoming pilot, The Flash (via FlashTVNews). The pilot starts shooting "next week" according to Warner Bros TV and is directed by David Nutter with a script by Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg, all who have been involved with Arrow in their same respective roles. In case you forgot, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen debuted on the 8th and 9th episodes of Arrow's second season as a forsenic scientist linking a Starling City homocide to one from his past.
With a script by the showrunners of Arrow, being directed by David Nutter and having a stellar cast, it's hard to argue that The Flash will be nothing but quality in terms and writing and acting.
The Flash also stars Rick Cosnett, Daneille Panabaker, Candice Patton, former Flash John Wesley Shipp and many more.
