Tye Sheridan to Lead Steven Speilberg's 'Ready Player One'
We've been waiting a while for this news, but we finally have word on who will be playing Wade Watts in Steven Speilberg's adaption of Ernest Cline's Ready Player One:
Tye Sheridan.
The young actor who has done great work in such films as Tree of Life and Mud, will lead the cast which also includes Olivia Cooke (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Samantha Cook/Art3mis and Ben Mendelsohn (Killing Them Softly) as Nolan Sorrento.
Sheridan's role as Wade Wilson is also that of Parzival, the name of his avatar in the virtual world of OASIS.
Warner Bros. recently moved the release date of Ready Player One to March 30th, 2018 after Disney shifted Star Wars: Episode VIII to its original December 15, 2017 slot.
