The movie was excellent; I was really happy with the way they so closely followed the book. Matt Damon was a great choice for the role; he portrayed the characters humor, frustration and emotional facets very well. I rarely see movies based on books I love because they often butcher them but this was as close to spot on as you could get. Ps- I liked what you said at the end of the review and thought it was very much worth mentioning.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the movie. I obviously thought it was faithful adaptation of the book as well.
And yes, as far as that last part of the review goes, I felt it was important to note. The film's message was very well done.
