Hugh Jackman Is The Easter Bunny

Let's clarify that a little bit:  Dreamworks announced today that Rise of the Guardians, an animated 3D film based on William Joyce's upcoming children's book series The Guardians of Childhood, will feature the voices of Chris Pine as Jack Frost, Alec Baldwin as North (aka: Santa Clause), Isla Fisher as Tooth (aka: The Tooth Fairy), Jude Law as Pitch (aka: The Boogeyman) and as we first mentioned, Hugh Jackman as Bunnymund (aka: The Easter Bunny).

Now what the hell is this movie about?  It seems evil Pitch is hell-bent on taking over the world and with it, the hearts and minds of children everywhere.  That leaves it up to our superpowered band of mythical heroes to join forces and save the world and, of course, the children.  Sounds pretty cool.

Directed by Peter Ramsey and co-directed by Guardians author William Joyce, Rise of the Guardians is set for release on November 21, 2012.  Guillermo del Toro and Michael Seigel will executive produce.
