    Doc Brown Returns!

Great Scott!  Telltale Games posted an update on their site today that Christopher Lloyd recently reported to their studios to being recording his lines as Doc Brown for the upcoming Back to the Future video game.  The highly-anticipated game, featuring the continuing adventures of both Doc Brown and Marty McFly, will be released on all major game platforms this winter.

    According to Telltale:

"Mr. Lloyd was fantastic and got right back into character - and this is just the first of many recording sessions for the game!  It's truly uncanny to hear Doc Brown come to life again and I can't wait for you guys to hear the finished product!"

Now if that doesn't get you even more excited for this game, I can't imagine anything will.  Back to the Future screenwriter and producer Bob Gale, who is also working with the game developers on the five "episodes" in which the game will take place (which will include other characters from the trilogy and take place in several different time periods), was also on hand for the recording session, and afterwards everyone posed for the obligatory Back to the Future poster shot:

Now that is heavy.  While no official release date has been set for the game, we can still be sure to get our time-travelling fix started when the Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Edition trilogy box set arrives on blu-ray (finally) on October 26th.  Which honestly, can't come soon enough.
