    WB Options David Goyer-Penned Trilogy

Warner Brothers has decideded to stay in the David Goyer business for the long-run. He's already involved with banging out Batman 3 and Superman: The Man of Steel – both under the control of the one they call Nolan and both for 2012 release.

"TOLDJA" reports the studio has purchased the film rights to Heaven's Shadow and its follow-ups Heaven's War and Heaven's Fall.

The thing is the first in this trilogy of books (authored by Goyer and Michael Cassutt) won't hit bookshelves until next July. The Brothers Warner nabbed up the rights thanks to Goyer's pitch and, most likely, because of their prior successful working relationship.

The books deal with an unidentified object hurtling towards the earth, the reaction from across the globe and, what else, aliens. Goyer will produce and in all probability have a hand in the writing process.

Talk about wb putting the hold on more leaks about superman and batman for that matter. I look forward to hearing more on Goyers superman script/story because I think it may be really good, after Latino review found out that stuff in February we haven't heard anything in regards to the story.
