RUMOR: Goyer Working On 'Wonder Woman'?

It looks like yesterdays rumor regarding Goyer directing the Superman reboot may have less validity to it than I assumed. Once again ThePlaylist is reporting another rumor involving David Goyer. The only difference is this time his name could be attached to another super hero property rumored to also be in development... Wonder Woman! The details of his involvement weren't even so much as speculated, but I'm assuming it would for a writer/director position as that seems to be the same route they're taking with Superman.

Does this mean he's out of the running to direct Superman, no not necessarily but their report also said to be expecting an announcement from Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures sometime over the next 48 hours from comic con. If true we should know more soon enough.

Although I have no idea if there will be any "major" comic con announcements, I wouldn't think they want to take away from the Green Lantern spot light we know they already have planned. Our man Pete formerly of Inland Empire Strikes Back reported the wonder woman development long before The Playlist revealed anything from their "good source". That being said the Wonder Woman film is in fact being developed, but Goyers involvement should be taken entirely as rumor at this point.
