    Box Office Predictions June 11-13

Opening this week is the big screen adaption of the popular 80's Tv show The A Team as well as the reboot/remake to the popular 80's film The karate Kid starring Jackie Chan and Will Smith's son Jaden.

Expect it to be a close battle for the top spot, but ultimately I think the A team will win over general audiences more so than a Karate Kid remake. The all star cast and from the looks of the trailers the senseless action sequences will be a huge advantage to A Team.

    1. The A-Team (20th Century Fox) - $36 million

    2. The Karate Kid (Sony) - $31 million

    3. Shrek Forever After (DreamWorks Animation/Paramount) - $15 million

    4. Get Him to the Greek (Universal) - $11 million

    5. Killers (LIonsgate) - $8.2 million

    6. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (Disney) - $7.4 million

    7. Marmaduke (20th Century Fox) - $6.5 million

    8. Sex and the City 2 (New Line/WB) - $6.2 million

    9. Iron Man 2 (Marvel/Paramount) - $4.1 million

    10. Splice (Warner Bros.) - $3.6 million

Be sure to check back this Sunday for the Box Office Estimates from Jen and again on Monday for the actual numbers.
