'Cold Souls' Trailer
Fri, June 19, 2009 It's a VERY slow news day but on my browsing travels I came across this little gem of a trailer at /film. The film stars Paul Giamatti and is about a man who essentialy decides to have his soul removed and then goes on a journey of self discovery. It's a quirky oddball comedy that will invite comparison's with 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and features a perfect hangdog role for Giamatti who is never less than entertaining.

This seems like a great movie! I cannot wait until it comes out. I like Paul G., he is always superb in most movies that I have seen him in. Only thing that im am quite possibly afraid of in the movie is the wife. I think without the wife perhaps the main character will be able to move around more freely, so im wondering how the attachment will impact the movie especialy considering this is a journey of the soul (sorry for the pun) . Typically in journey movies either two blueprints are essential A). All characters stay together on the journey B). The one who is on the quest starts out all on his own an meet up with new characters. So, I'm wondering if because he has a wife will that make the movie at bit off kilter, in a bad way.
