Remember when Jay Leno "retired" and Conan took over The Tonight Show for a minute? Then Jay Leno came back and Conan jettisoned himself to TBS? That drama seems like so long ago as we now prepare ourselves for the Jimmy Fallon led The Tonight Show. The first promo is below.

"Back In The Game" Canceled, "The Goldbergs" & "Trophy Wife" - Full Seasons

According to TVBYTHENUMBERS Back In The Game has been canceled and Trophy Wife & The Goldbergs have received full season orders.

The pick ups of The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife are not a surprise to those who watch them. I personally think that The Goldbergs is the best new sitcom of the season. It combines humor with just enough emotion to provide an experience I haven't seen on network television The Wonder Years. The Trophy Wife is the funniest sitcom of the new season, with stupid ass humor of Brooklyn Nine-Nine close behind it.

Back In The Game, although not outright canceled, will not receive any additional episodes beyond the original 13 episode package. Even with the likeable Maggie Lawson in the lead and the quirky James Caan in the fold the show stalled in the 18 - 49 demo for ABC.

No More Jennifer Love Hewitt Showing Off Skin - "The Client List" Canceled

After only two seasons on Lifetime Jennifer Love Hewitt's The Client List has been canceled. The Client List originally premiered on Lifetime as a television film in 2010 based on the Samantha Horton prostitution scandal in Odessa, Texas. Hewitt was nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Horton, who spread eagle deep in the heart of Texas to support her three daughters.

The show was a hit for Lifetime pulling in 3.9 million viewers and the network decided to spin off into a television series. Although Hewitt played a similar character she carried a different name as the show was more of a reimagining of the story. According to TV BY THE NUMBERS sources are saying creative differences between Jennifer Love Hewitt and the network laid the foundation for the cancellation.

Jack Bauer Heads To England In "24: Live Another Day"

Twentieth Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Fox are sending the production of "24: Live Another Day" across the Atlantic to London for a thrilling international adventure, as the new tent-pole event series restarts the clock on the groundbreaking and Emmy Award-winning drama franchise starring Kiefer Sutherland. As previously announced, "24: Live Another Day" will make its debut in the summer of 2014 on Fox.

"'24' has always had such a global sensibility," said Sutherland, who also serves as an executive producer on the event series. "But to be able to tell this intense '24'-style story with the beauty of Europe's history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating. Hopefully, by the time you're finished watching an episode, you'll feel like you've been there...on the edge of your seat."

Co-showrunner and executive producer Evan Katz added, "We wanted the show's return to be an event, and part of that was putting Jack in a very different context. Four years ago, we left Jack a fugitive from justice and we're going to pick him up four years later in London."

Co-showrunner and executive producer Manny Coto continued, "Jack is soon back on the run and it takes us into the streets of London and in places that break new ground for the show. We've shot in New York, Washington, Los Angeles and Cape Town -- but now we're in London and Jack's loose on the streets of Europe, hunted by and hunting bad guys."

Originally premiering November 6, 2001, "24" was nominated for a total of 73 Emmy Awards, winning for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Over the course of eight seasons, and a two-hour telefilm, Sutherland garnered seven Emmy Award nominations and one win for Outstanding Lead Actor - Drama Series.

"24: Live Another Day" is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions. Howard Gordon, Brian Grazer and Kiefer Sutherland will executive produce, along with an additional team to be announced. The original series, which had its last American broadcast on May 24, 2010, was created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran.

Warner Bros Has Gotham PD Inspired TV Show Lurking In The Shadows

Even though Warner Bros is moving on from the Nolanverse on the big screen, that hasn't stopped them from finding a way to continue it on the small screen.

The studio is prepared to hire a writer to tackle a Gotham PD inspired television show that would essentially take place between the aftermath of The Dark Knight and before the return of Batman in The Dark Knight Rises. The story would involve the pressure on Gotham's finest to take control of the city during Batman's hiatus from crime fighting.

Not much is known about the project but Jonah Nolan is said to be playing a role similar to what Marc Guggenheim is owning on Arrow and Greg Berlanti is set to do on Flash. There is no word on what network the show could possibly be featured on but logic would indicate that CW would be a likely destination.

You wonder if the Ed Brubaker/Greg Rucka Eisner and Harvey award winning series Gotham Central could used as inspiration for the tv show. "The series pitted the detectives of Gotham City’s Special Crimes Unit against the city's greatest villains — in the shadow of Batman himself."
