DC Nation Teaser Commercial

Earlier this year, DC announced that they would be releasing a block of programming in 2012 on Cartoon Network called DC Nation. Very little was known about the shows that would be included, but this past Friday a teaser commercial aired during the one hour special premier of Green Lantern: The Animated Series. With Marvel already in full speed getting their brand out to the masses, DC is finally stepping it up by trying to reach new audiences and please old fans as well. Check out the official commercial below from DC's blog, The Source.

Nightwing DLC Trailer

Batman: Arkham City sold 4.6 million copies in it's first week of release and that's double the numbers Arkham Asylum showed in the same time frame. If you didn't have at least a small interest in picking up or playing the game this news may persuade you.

On November 1st the Nightwing bundle pack on Arkham City will become available for Playstation 3 and Xbox users. You can view an awesome trailer for the content above which looks very well worth the price its going for. For Xbox you need 560 Microsoft Points in the LIVE Marketplace and on the Playstation Network you can get it for $6.99.

Nightwing has always been my favorite character from the Batman family and luckily Rocksteady Studios seems to have treated him well. Can we please fast track a Nightwing live action film?

The Walking Dead Cast Talks Season 2

In a raucous edition of CBR TV, “The Walking Dead” castmates Jon Bernthal, Chandler Riggs and Laurie Holden answer some of the more offbeat questions we’ve ever posed, from their personal assessment of their own zombie outbreak survival abilities to which cast member would prove the tastiest to an undead palette. They also discuss the second season of the hit AMC show, teasing at what fans can expect in the weeks to come from the overall storyline to their characters’ personal arcs.

Justice League: Doom Trailer

Batman's greatest rival, Ra's al Ghul continues his quest to save Earth from humanity by thinning the ranks of the human populace. But after being thwarted over and over again, Ra's seeks to distract Batman by stealing the bodies of his dead parents while he enacts his nefarious plot. And to insure that Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash and the rest of the JLA do not interfere with his plans, he individually defeats each of the heroes using strategies developed by Batman himself! And when the League learn of his betrayal, they look to expel the Dark Knight from their ranks.

Green Lantern Animated Series Opening Sequence

Warner Bros. premiered the debut episode of the Green Lantern Animated Series this morning at the New York Comic Con. Fans attending the event got a taste of the action earlier as the episode will air on Cartoon Network on November 11th. The opening sequence has been uploaded online to give everyone else an idea of whats in store. All the footage released so far has looked very promising and will hopefully shine a better light across the world of Green Lantern, which is a property that could be huge if done right.

Green Lantern Clip

Superherohype has this exclusive clip from the Green Lantern release this Friday. I have a feeling that I will be in the group of a select few who buy this one. Hopefully Warner Bros. is able to walk away with some positives in the home video sales.

Nightwing In Arkham City

Arkham City just became even better with the announcement of a Nightwing bundle pack being released on November 1st. He will have his own gadgets and special moves, will be available to play in all the challenge maps, and includes a bonus animated series skin for the character. And because a retail price of $59.99 is such a bargain, this bundle pack will not come cheap with a price tag of $6.99 on the Playstation Network. Even though the extra price is tacked on, it's still worth it because it's Nightwing.

Catwoman Animated Short Clip From Batman: Year One

Catwoman is on the prowl and well endowed in this clip from the animated short being featured on the Batman: Year One home video release. The animation looks like it's following the same style as all the previous animated shorts included on previous DCU animated releases. Batman: Year One will be released on October 18th.

Wolverine Updates From Jackman

MTV talked with Hugh Jackman about the upcoming Wolverine film which is on to begin filming next year.

"There's such great temptation to make an R-rated 'Wolverine'," he says, "I've always felt that. I know a lot of fans would like that. I totally get it. If there was ever a superhero that was going to be R-rated, it's Wolverine. However, in the last ten years, I've also met many, many 12, 13, dare I say 10, 14, 15 year-olds who, for them, Wolverine is not just cool, you see it in their eyes. He's everything to them. So my thing is -- which James Mangold and I talked about -- is let's not put it off the table. There's even a talk of us doing two versions, as in finding a way for us to do both as you shoot it, which could be really cool. But you need to have a really good reason to exclude those fans."
