First Poster For Michael Dougherty's "Krampus"
I've always been a big fan of Michael Dougherty. I've paid close attention to his career; from his work on X-Men & Superman Returns to his horror-themed art and directorial venture on Trick 'r Treat. I'm grateful for his part in bringing the Man Of Steel back to the big screen for the first time in almost 30 years and the excitement and anticipation leading up to the film has not been duplicated for me personally since.
When I heard he was taking the lead on Christmas horror film Krampus, I knew he was the right person for the job based on my appreciation for Trick 'r Treat. Take a peak at the poster below and if you haven't had the time to check out his art please head over to his WEBSITE, a lot of these images helped to inspire Trick 'r Treat.
When his dysfunctional family clashes over the holidays, young Max (Emjay Anthony) is disillusioned and turns his back on Christmas. Little does he know, this lack of festive spirit has unleashed the wrath of Krampus: a demonic force of ancient evil intent on punishing non-believers. All hell breaks loose as beloved holiday icons take on a monstrous life of their own, laying siege to the fractured family’s home and forcing them to fight for each other if they hope to survive.
