The Dark Knight Rises Has Its Villains!

When that list of potential leading ladies was released for The Dark Knight Rises last week, one of the last of them I imagined getting hired was Anne Hathaway. Not a slight against her in the least, just figured she was better suited for Lois Lane in the Superman reboot Christopher Nolan is producing for next Christmas.
Shows what I know! Warner Brothers has officially announced Hathaway will play Selina Kyle (noticeably not saying the words "Catwoman") for the greatly-anticipated Batman threequel. In addition, Nolan alum Tom Hardy has been confirmed to play Bane, the baddie notoriously known for breaking Bats' back in the comics in the early 90s.
This also "shockingly" confirms those script leaks with Hugo Strange and the like were 100% Grade-A Internet bullshit.

The odds of Olivia Wilde to play Lois Lane has just improved.
I think a great opportunity was missed for Harley Quinn but I'm not disappointed with the villains announced.

i totally didnt expect bane to be the choice for hardy. really thought he would have been hugo strange like alot of rumors were heading for tom. As for anne great choice of actress and she will probably be a fine selina kyle/catowman. Cant wait to see how nolan uses the two characters.
As for ann i was hoping she wouldnt take batman role. Would have loved to see her do superman instead and be lois lane. I think that would have been a great role for her to do. Also i wonder will there be any other villains too and any other remaining casting for the film.

Hardy as Bane. I never saw that coming. Not sure how I feel about Hathaway as Kyle. Then again, I was pleasantly surprised by Ledger as the Joker. We'll see how it goes.
