Larry Charles Directing Jim Carrey Comedy Pierre Pierre
Legendary Seinfeld alum Larry Charles (also responsible for directing Borat and Bruno) will try to "bring back the funny" for Jim Carrey.
Anyone remember the last time audiences found his shtick amusing? I guess, Bruce Almighty, and that was seven (!?) years back. My five-old-niece has no idea who he is, and I remember a time when every kid alive was imitating his Dumb & Dumber (and to a lesser degree Ace Ventura) routine*.
"TOLDJA" says Charles will direct Pierre Pierre for Carrey who will play a wacky Frenchman (Aren't they all onscreen?) transporting a stolen painting from Paris to London. Along the way, he'll in all probability run into equally, if not more so, over-the-top characters, an antagonist changing him, and how about a love interest for him too?
If it weren't for Charles, my interest in this would be non-existent. Then again, this was originally set up two years ago with Jason Reitman. Perhaps this is chuckle-heavy.
*Yes, I was one of them.

How did you not find Yes Man hilarious??!! Wow! You really think his last funnt film was Bruce Almighty? Your opinion just lost a ton of cred in my eyes
I loved Yes Man too, but everyones entitled to their own opinion
It does not follow that because we do not subsidize smoking, we should not regulate unhealthy activities. Costs and savings are not the only variable. The fact that obesity creates costs is merely an additional reason to regulate it, not the only one. The main reason is its danger to an individual. You are dismissive of subsidizing smoking precisely because of this moral intuition. ehyggl ehyggl - justin bieber supra.
