New Clip from 'Nightmare On Elm Street'
Tue, April 13, 2010 Yahoo!Movies and Warner Bros have released a new clip from the "Nightmare On Elm Street" remake. In the clip Nancy (Rooney Mara) enters a what looks to be a drug store and realizes she's actually asleep as everything around her begins to flicker between the boiler room to the drug store, until Freddy starts to get closer. This close up look of him, looks great by the way.
This gives us a "little" more insight as to how the remake will play out, its obvious Freddy is no longer the comedian serial killer he once was in the original franchise of the 80's, but that's probably for the better. After the first few, the sequels started to really go down hill. I honestly hope that Platinum Dunes is able to bring this iconic character back to horror prominence once again.

I really liked this, the only thing for me is the transition between dreams and reality was done great in the orginal, I don't know that the entire movie will play out this way, but it is entirely different. Change is ins't always a bad thing either.

this movie is starting to look great, it looked like shit at first, but the more I hear on it the better it seems. i def check out your review mitch, I like all the elm street stories keep it up.
