First Look at the First Avenger
"I'm sorry? Johnny Storm? Afraid I don't know who that is."
It's one of the biggest comic-book movie gambles (which remains to be seen if it works or not) having an actor already associated with one superhero franchise doing the same for another. Ryan Reynolds wanted to be the first guy to pull it off, but it appears that distinction goes to Chris Evans – first of the Fantastic Four series and now Captain America.
Entertainment Weekly has the official "First Look" at Evans in the star-spangled suit (minus the mask) on the front-cover of their latest issue. As much as the notion of John Krasinski intrigued me, I have to admit Evans was always the best choice of the (many) actors we heard in contention. He certainly looks like he belongs in the 1940s here.
Let's just hope the movie (opening on July 22, 2011: aka the week after Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows – Part II) works.

Looks great.
Much better than Thor. Love it.
Cober looks good. Can't wait to see more images of evans in suit. Also I to hope it will do well with its release date. Sucks its smack dab between gl and hp 7 part two. Hopefully I will do well.
wheres the freaking wing eared mask?
