Been waiting soooo long for these!!! Big thanks to Phil and Jamie for making them!
Do you expect me to cluck?
No Mr. Bond, I expect you to FRY!
Maybe it's fitting James Bond was named after an ornithologist. Colonel Sanders would've been his perfect foil!
@MediaGold
I thought of that exact line after we recorded the show. I should have said that.
Do you know that, in my youth, I wrote a quasi James Bond movie set during the obesity crisis of the 90s. It was about a SPECTRE like organization who took over KFC and tried to wipe out the world's cattle population.
It was called 'For Your Fries Only'.
God, I'm so with Jamie on live and let die. His comments about the voodoo and other stereotypes of his region had me rolling. I can't lie; I've wondered if we'll see J.W. Pepper in the current continuity.
Nice to see some love for my man Timothy Dalton. TLD was the first Bond film I saw in theaters. There's just so much going on in Dalton's interpretation. My biggest disappointment with the series is that we didn't get more films with him. Licence To Kill has grown on me a lot over the years. Dalton/Davi is a great mix.
Roger is the Man. I saw his films on tape as a kid so it's hard for me to put perspective to it, but I'm guessing they won't hold up for a modern audience. To me he's just very entertaining to watch and part of that is The enthusiasm Jamie mentioned. I also highly recommend his autobiography "My Word Is My Bond" just in case you guys haven't checked it out. Fun read. Thanks for putting the show up and I can't wait to hear what you guys make of Spectre. I expect greatness.
