Sarah Silverman to join Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX
Sarah Silverman, "comedian" and star of The Sarah Silverman Project as well as Venelope VonSweets in Wreck-It Ralph and can be seen this summer in A Million Ways to Die in the West, has been set to join Showtime's Masters of Sex (probably topless) which premiers this July entering it's second season.
USA Today reports:
Showtime announced she will "recur in the guest starring role of Helen."
She will be joining Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson who are responsible for changing the entire landscape of how people view and know about sex.
Silverman will also be joining newcomer Betsy Brandt, best known as Marie Schrader on AMC's critically acclaimed drama Breaking Bad.
Masters of Sex stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the series chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop culture trajectory. Their research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a mid-western teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine. The series is an adaptation of Thomas Maier’s book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love.
