The Flash Racing Back to Television

So, was that talk of a Flash movie for 2016 premature?
DC Entertainment may be iffy on the big screen for properties that aren't Superman or Batman. But on television, things couldn't be clearer. In the wake of Arrow and its huge success on the CW (The only DC project you can use the term "successful" to describe that didn't involve Christopher Nolan), the network is settling on the Scarlet Speedster as their next big superhero themed TV project. They are expected to discuss it at their big TCA presentation today.
Arrow co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg and DC leech Geoff Johns will write the pilot, with the character possibly being introduced on the series and then spun-off. For those of you old enough to remember, this would be the Flash's second foray into television. Many of us were introduced to the character in the 1990 CBS series starring John Wesley Shipp, AKA Dawson's dad.
