Sucker Punch Trailer and Poster
Mon, July 26, 2010 Zack Snyder may have lost some fanboy love after Watchmen but he's back with an original called sucker Punch and the trailer has just dropped.
I'll post a synopsis below as the trailer doesn't bother really explaining what it's about but I'd say Snyder's "an 'Alice in Wonderland' with machine guns," sell of it is pretty accurate, in truth despite all the "epic" CGI laden action I can't say I'm particularly interested, however check it out for yourselves and lets us know what you think in the comments.
Synopsis:
Set in the 1950's, "Punch" follows a girl who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
/Film have also gotten hold of the new poster for the movie which you can see below, the big mech with the bunny face adding another Alice reference.

The story feels like it has a hint of Pan's Labyrinth to me. I'm game as long as it's more Punch (a good character driven story) and not just Sucker (layer upon layer of eyecandy).
