    The Town Trailer

I like Ben Affleck, I even liked him when he was driving around in tacky gold Bentley's with Jlo and making muddled Daredevil adaptions, however he came into his own with his directorial debut "Gone Baby Gone."

Now he is back with his follow up, another crime thriller novel adaption called "The Town," the movie finds Affleck back in the same territory of the Boston underbelly and the trailer present's itself in a way that shows it's clearly a relation to "Gone Baby Gone," if not actually then spiritually.

Affleck takes the leading role this time around with very strong support from Rebecca Hall, Chris Cooper and Hurt Locker standout Jeremy Renner, as well as Green Lantern's lady Blake Lively, although I don't think she is going for wholesome with this character.

The trailer lets you know the film's bloodline is linked to "Gone Baby Gone" and Oscar Winner "The Departed" but there is a freshness and energy that is exhilerating, Affleck looks on form as the tough Boston native who falls for the woman who's bank his crew rob, and clearly there will be a number of powerfully charged relationships to juggle within the central crime story, plus Ben has turned his hand to action and appears to be a natural at it.

"The Town" Opens on September 17th and you can check out the trailer below.

I just saw this in front of Inception yesterday, it looks all kinds of awesome! Gone Baby Gone was great so Imagine this will be no different.

It looks great but I'm not sure it will be as I didn't like Gone Baby Gone.
