New Trailer 'The American'

Focus Features has debuted the trailer for director Anton Corbijn's The American, starring George Clooney, Violante Placido, Thekla Reuten, Paolo Bonacelli and Bruce Altman.
In the suspense thriller, opening September 1st, Jack (Clooney) is a master craftsman who stands alone among assassins. When a job in Sweden ends more harshly than expected for this American abroad, he vows to his contact Larry (Altman) that his next assignment will be his last. Jack reports to the Italian countryside, where he holes up in a small town and relishes being away from death for a spell. The assignment, as specified by a Belgian woman, Mathilde (Reuten), is in the offing as a weapon is constructed. Surprising himself, Jack seeks out the friendship of local priest Father Benedetto (Bonacelli) and pursues romance with local woman Clara (Placido). But by stepping out of the shadows, Jack may be tempting fate.
Just from the looks of the trailer, I can't tell if this is going to be amazing, or if it's going to be ridiculously boring. The music through out the trailer was awful, it made the entire trailer boring as shit. I like George Clooney so I really hope this is good.
As Mac McCoy pointed out to me, he looks like a very slow Jason Bourne in his 40's. Who wants to watch that?

hahaha Bourne in his 40's thats hilarious, the music was stupid, but the movie sounds cool...
This looks like someone took the theme from Assassins and made it for adults.
