New Trailer 'Inception'
Opening in conventional and IMAX theaters on July 16, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine.
In the film, Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.
Wow, this looks amazing! I get the feeling that even with the synopsis, the trailers, the TV spots, and everything we've heard so far, we still don't know really know what Inception is actually about.
Check back to TMT in July for our official review.

I can't wait for this, I think this will be Nolans best film to date, better than tdk and insomnia
I love Nolan as much as the next bat fan, but does the general audience really love him that much?? I doubt that this will make very much money, 200 million dollar budget on an original idea, thats un heard of in hollywood now.
I think they were willing to throw money at Nolan in hopes of seeing him return to B3. So long as this at least breaks even for them, I dont think they give a shit, WB is more concerned with getting B3 out with Nolan and the whole BB TDK team back,, the merchandising tv contract dvd sales toys box office etc for batman 3 will be more then enough for wb to warrant making inception. my thought anyways.
anyhoo, this does look pretty damn cool
Yeah, I don't see this being a phenomenal hit at the box office. I do think it will be good. I like the fact that Nolan likes to use the same actors, with whom he's previously worked. So, now you have Di Caprio and Ellen Page (I like them both) on a movie before Batman 3 is cast. I'm just saying...
Mitch, I'm glad you got this up. I was trying to find some contact info on Sunday to let you know about it.
