Movie Moan - The Week Nothing Happened
Seriously, we have nothing to work with this week.
Joining us for a very boring show this week is Mr Randall Maynard in his long awaited return to the podcast to give us for the correct opinion on 'The Amazing Spider-man 2' poster and trailer, the Wonder Woman casting in 'Batman & Superman Vs. The World', and how 'X-Men: Apocalypse' affects the future of that franchise.
Plus, with the release of Disney's latest animated feature film 'Frozen', it's time to reunite the crew of our podcast from a few months back on the desperate state of American animation. So the delightful Melissa Molina and the mysterious Matt Thompson return to discuss whether the film was as bad as its marketing made out.
Oh, and they're making more Indiana Jones films.
Like I said folks, it's not even worth listening this week. Dull, dull, dull.

Phil, I share your exasperation with the way WB is completely mishandling MAN OF STEEL 2 (or BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN, or whatever the hell they end up calling it); their desperation to reach AVENGERS-like box office numbers - only without putting in the years of groundwork and individual movies that build towards an “event” film - is so transparent that it’s kind of appalling, and it doesn’t inspire much excited anticipation for the movie.
Side note: some great discussions this week, and the interplay between all the guests was informative and entertaining. Of course, that’s always the case with Movie Moan, but I just wanted to say it for a change!
Phil did you drop an alternate title for this one? aka The Grinch/Scrooge Edition? ;-D
So much negativity! And in the Holiday Season too! Tsk, tsk. You guys better be careful or large, lumps of coal may show up under your Holiday Trees.
Where is the movie love?
So, did no one like any of the action/Spidey action bits? I thought they were tremendous.
