    Mighty Avengers NOW!

The Infinity event Marvel has been teasing has finally kicked off and the Avengers have gone offworld to face a threat that was meant as a distraction to leave the Earth vulnerable. Thanos needed to have the heroes away so that he could attack the planet with little to no opposition. Many fans have been wondering where Luke Cage has been in the Marvel NOW! line of books since he was a very central piece of Brian Bendis' long tenure on the Avengers titles.

Luke has always been associated as a more street level hero, fighting the threats that might seem pety to the bigger cast of characters and this time it's for good reason he didn't join the others in space. Cage is scrounging together a group of his trusted comrades to form the Mighty Avengers and hit the threat from Thanos head on in the Avengers absence.
